It's hard to believe, but Strawberry is now nine weeks old!  She is a little chunk of love.  Her latest home is a teapot.  Too cute!

I don't think that I realized how strong hedgehog powers are when I got Miss Snugglepuff.  She has cast a spell on all of us.  Her baby, Strawberry, is an adorable little pincushion who is now five weeks old.  After two weeks of feeding the baby every 2 (then 4) hours with a medicine dropper, I'm looking forward to sleeping all night again!  But it sure is a great experience for all of us.  The students couldn't be more captivated!

Miss Snugglepuff

Picture
This is Miss Snugglepuff, our class pet.  She is an African pygmy hedgehog that I got as a rescue.  She has become quite a celebrity at Roberts Elementary.  Miss Snugglepuff has many fans and even has a few books written about her!

Big News!

When hedgehogs are nervous or frightened, they roll themselves up into a ball for protection.  Can you see Miss Snugglepuff's nose in this photo?
